The Diamond Muffler is engineered for effective noise suppression in radon mitigation systems. Its compact design connects directly to 3″ Schedule 40 PVC pipe via built-in fittings, eliminating the need for additional couplers. Designed for flexible placement, it can be installed in-line or at the termination point of a vent system to reduce airborne noise generated by high-suction and high-flow fans. An internal structural cage stabilizes the acoustic foam, maintaining position under airflow pressure while creating a pillowing effect that minimizes noise transmission with negligible impact on system performance.
